Privacy Notice for Teacher Feedback

Who are we?

Teacher Feedback this site to let your teacher record feedback on your work so you can listen to it through your computer or mobile device.

This notice explains what personal data (information) we hold about you, how we collect, how we use and may share information about you.  We are required to give you this information under data protection law.

Teacher Feedback collects, uses and is responsible for certain personal information about you. When we do so we are regulated under the General Data Protection Regulation which applies across the European Union (including in the United Kingdom) and we are responsible as ‘controller’ of that personal information for the purposes of those laws.

Why we keep personal information about you

It is important that when the teachers create the feedback about your work, we know what feedback goes with which child but we only keep personal information we really need.

What information do we keep about you?

We don’t keep much information on you – just your name, school, class and the recordings made by your teacher. We don’t need to keep anything else.

How do we collect information about you?

Your school gives us your class and name so that we can add you to the website. The feedback recordings are made by your teacher and added onto our website.

How do we use your information?

We securely hold information about you so that we can deliver this teacher feedback service. We do not share your details with other businesses and we do not sell any of your data. However, sometimes we have to share information we have about you:

For example:

                    The Police have asked for information to investigate a serious crime

                    The court has asked for information

How long do we keep your information for?

We do not keep the recordings for more than two years.


Who can see your information?

Your information is only seen by people who look after the website and your teachers.

Your rights

      We only keep information about you that we really need

      We do not share it unless we have to

      The law gives you the right to know what information we hold about you and to have a city of the information.

      There are some other rights you have such as having incorrect information about you corrected.
